Prague by Locals is my own passion project — not a big company or mass-tour provider. Every tour is private, relaxed, and thoughtfully designed, combining must-see sights with quiet backstreets, local cafés, and hidden gems. Meet Your Private Local Guide – Tereza

I grew up in a small Czech village during communism, when travel was just a dream. After the borders opened, I lived in the USA, Spain, Ireland, and Argentina — but eventually, Prague stole my heart. What started as a 6-month stay became 16 years (and counting!).

Since becoming a licensed guide in 2013, I’ve led hundreds of private tours for English speaking travelers, managed a team of guides, and co-owned a tour company. But my heart brought me back to what I love most: sharing the magic of Prague personally and authentically.

Tereza was such an amazing tour guide! she was so knowledgeable and flexible, and gave us a lot of incredible recommendations.

Such a great way to see the city and experience local culture and foods! Tereza was our tour guide and she was amazing—so knowledgeable, fun and just a kind person. We tasted 8 different dishes, 5 restaurants, 3 beers, a coffee and a special surprise from Teresa’s father. Come hungry because the portions are beyond plentiful. We were the only tourists at all stops and they were filled with locals. We learned history but it was delightful to hear Teresa’s stories of her family. Don’t hesitate to do this tour. It will be the highlight of your visit to Prague.
