More Than a Tour—A Story You’ll Become a Part Of
Is this a tour of Kutná Hora’s most famous sights? Yes. Of course. But it’s also about the stories behind them—the rise and fall of a town once richer than Prague, the miners who built its legacy, and the echoes of history that still linger in its streets.
We don’t just tick off landmarks. We slow down. We step into the past. We bring history to life. And maybe, over a glass of Moravian wine, we share a few laughs and insights into what it means to be Czech.
Sure, you’ll see grand cathedrals and haunting chapels. But you’ll also feel the weight of centuries in the cobblestones beneath your feet, taste tradition in a hearty Czech meal, and leave with more than just photos—you’ll leave with a connection to a place that’s far more than just a day trip.
What Will We See And Do?
We start in Sedlec, home to two extraordinary sites. First, the Bone Church, where human bones are arranged into chandeliers, coats of arms, and sacred symbols — eerie, beautiful, and deeply human. Then we step inside the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, a UNESCO World Heritage site that blends Gothic mystery with Baroque grandeur.
Next, we visit another UNESCO treasure — the Cathedral of St. Barbara, a Gothic marvel built by silver miners who dreamed big. It’s breathtaking, and also featured in Kingdom Come: Deliverance, known for its rich medieval detail.
Midday, we slow down for a traditional Czech lunch. Raise a glass of tank beer or Moravian wine, try a hearty local dish, and enjoy good conversation — not just about history, but about life, culture, and Czech quirks.
After lunch, we wander through Kutná Hora’s medieval Old Town, uncovering the stories behind its quiet streets and courtyards. Along the way, we’ll stop at a beloved local chocolate shop — a sweet surprise to round out the day.
So yes, this is a tour — but it’s also an experience. A day of real stories, warm company, and time to feel the soul of a once-powerful royal town.
Let’s make it unforgettable.
